Fast. The whole procoess just took a couple of days.
Everthing was explained in the Interview which lastet almost one hour.

The hiring process took about 2 weeks. Training classes are fast-paced but nothing the average person cannot keep up with. You get all the assistance to pass training if you're willing to out in the effort.

Interview
There was an initial phone screen 4 days prior to the interview with a recruiter. After the phone screen I was invited for to partake in an assessment. After completing the assessment an in person interview took place with the hiring manager which was productive and positive after which he had stated “if “ the recruiter doesn’t call you on Monday , call her. After two weeks without a follow up from the initial recruiter, two voicemails , two emails to two different company recruiters and multiple calls to both desk and personal mobile phone I was finally able to reach the original recruiter . Despite having a lack of urgency with the class starting in three days , she spent less then 30 seconds to explain I did not acquire the position. Reason being the hiring manager did not agree to my reply regarding a question on attendance during the interview . My reply was “ as minimum as possible” regarding an acceptable/appropriate amount of days to miss from work. Now either she was tired of me calling and pulled something out of nowhere to get me off her back or got my reply mixed up with someone else’s . Either way this was a waste of time not only for me but for the company itself . Why make the investment in man hours and resources for a phone screen , an assessment, and an in person interview to not follow up. One would think em employe representing the company would treat a potential candidate that way and if so one can only imagine how the companies clients feel . Waste of company time , damaging to the name , maybe if vetting was improved within recruiters turn over would be lower. Didn’t obtain the position but bullet dodged if this is the team representing cognizant.
