I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cognizant (Calcutta) in Mar 2017
Interview
Had to wait for quite long time before going into the actual interview round. Once in, the person who interviewed me didn't even introduce himself to me or ask me anything like "how are you?" etc. Straight away went to interview questions. The questions he asked were quite outdated and didn't even relate to any of my then recent projects in similar technologies. I was quite hopeful about getting an opportunity to be a member of one of the most respected Organizations, but the interview questions three me off. Didn't expect this pattern of questioning from such a respected Organization..
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Cognizant in Jun 2016
Interview
Careernet Consulting processed my resume and asked me to take interview on 18th June, I got call letter from both Cognizant and careernet. When i reached the place Cognizant hiring team told that they are looking for people who know java with springs and not with Java with Struts which I had. If the requirement was for Springs, why did they call for interview. Because of this I wasted my time. When I enquired same with cognizant they have put the blame on careernet and asked to enquire them and when I asked careernet, they told me Cognizant is fine with any framework. In the end I suffered. Neither cognizant nor careernet have the courtesy to tell sorry. Very bad experience and no professionalism.
