Cognizant interviewed me for 5 technical rounds & one client interview with Merck and I passed all the interviews. They told me that they are going to get the start date for the project and Cognizant stopped to pick up my calls. I believe that they don't want to hire me because I am a US citizen.They want to hire only H1Bs only NOT American citizens. I was working with some other project and client wanted to continue my project and Cognizant convinced the client to remove me so that they can hire someone in India to replace me. Suppose client is paying me $100, then Cognizant convinced them that they can work for $60 only. but they did not hire anyone in US, they hired someone in India for $20 only. That means being a American citizen I lost the job here. some poor guy is working for 15 hours for $20 in India. American client got $40 profit and Cognizant got $40 profit.

I had 3 rounds, First round was screening round for technical round and last was HR round. It was easy to clear the interview. Hardly 6 to 7 question will be asked.
