I put >12 hours into the interview process, was given an offer which I accepted, only for it to be withdrawn a week later with absolutely no explanation on why. I had already started the visa process and started to prepare for moving to a new country, something that requires a lot of time and energy. Yet despite all this, all I got was a call from the HR person who knew nothing about the situation, telling me the offer had been withdrawn. My attempts to request clarification from the CTO were completely ignored. I was treated incredibly badly. If that is the way that they treat people in their organisation, I can only hope that I missed a bullet. It was very cruel.
The process was a fairly average software engineering interview experience: screening -> high level tech discussion -> tech assignment -> CTO interview.

Interview
The interview process at collective minds radiology is what one would expect. It is straightforward. Three rounds of interviews (one with the recruiter, another with the team lead, and a last interview with the cto) which is very good these days... I think
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Collective Minds Radiology (Barcelona) in Oct 2024
Interview
The interviewing process was as follows:
1. 30 mins call with external recruiter: just building a profile for you with tech buzzwords, quick explanation about the company and the benefits.
2. 45 mins call with PO: he explained the job more in details and what they're looking for, their product, etc. And explained my tech background. This call was very nice, the PO was respectful and easy to talk to.
3. Home assignment to build a functionality. The test text was outdated, the role I applied for was asking for VueJS but the assignment description said "PHP role" so I'm guessing the one who wrote the assignment isn't working there anymore. Home assignments usually take more time than the company suggests - if they say it's 2 hrs long then usually it's around the 4 hr mark. Anyways, I delivered the assignment and got very poor feedback from the Senior frontend developer. I could tell from the feedback that the developer had limited experience and definitely not of a senior. So expect to work with someone who isn't very fluent in Software Development.
4. We were supposed to have a tech call to discuss my home assignment but they didn't continue.
