We apologise that you were kept waiting. While we endeavour to keep all appointments running on time, unfortunately some days events occur which are out with our control, and this delays the interview process. We are disappointed to hear that that nobody apologised to you for your wait, this is something we will address.
It should have been explained to you on the phone and in the corresponding email that the initial interview is relatively short and informal. It is an opportunity for us to meet applicants in person, learn more about their work history, transferable skills and goals for their future. It allows us to explain what we do, the clients we work with and where they could fit in. We apologise if you were mis-informed and were expecting something else.
We have a very fast paced recruitment process and therefore it is normal for us to conduct observation days promptly after the initial interviews. We are disappointed you declined the opportunity to attend an observation day as you would have gained a thorough insight into what we do.
