Interview
1. Recruiter call
2. Hiring manager call, talking about experience with automation frameworks and writing some tests live
3. Two calls total. 1st is a short demo call with a PM to talk about product. 2nd is a call with a Director of Engineering, which was very similar to call with HM but more on a higher level.
4. Another call with hiring manager, same technical round as previous two
5. Another coding round, this time an algorithm with principal dev. Something like easy/medium leetcode but more math focused.
6. Behavioral call with investor
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Condor Software
Interview
Applied through Wellfound. Received a CoderByte assessment with three small coding prompts. A react use state counter, a string algorithm and an array sliding window median algorithm. The array problem was poorly written and has broken tests. Received a blanket rejection. Lots of red flags.
