I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Sept 2015
Interview
Met a recruiter and a current Management Trainee at a career fair. We set up an interview for the next day. I didn't really click with the recruiter or trainee, making conversation seem forced on both ends. They asked me very standard interview questions. When they opened it up for me to ask questions she answered most of them fine. However, when I asked about promotional opportunities she circled around the question and then said "Sorry, that was vague." When I asked both of them what they like most about the job she said "Wow. I don't know. You go first," and made the trainee answer first and followed by giving another vague answer that didn't really make sense. After my interview, I was given 12 minutes to take a test. It was difficult and I maybe got 1/3 of the way through with it and by that point I had already realized that the company and I were not a good fit, so I tried my hardest but wasn't overly concerned with the results.

Had 4 interviews, a test, an in-person, and a reference check. Spent about 5 hours interviewing and never heard back from anyone ever again, completely ghosted with no feedback. Says a lot about the org.

Interview
Efficient and straightforward interview process.
1. First interview was later in the week that I met the recruiter at a campus career fair. Consisted of questions such as where I saw myself in five years, and some basic mental math questions (eg. what is 18% of 150.
2. Second interview was a conversation based meeting with a middle manager. Basically talked about the company’s structure and culture of the program.

Interview
Fairly basic, asked questions more about where I see myself in the future instead of previous experience. Problem solving questions at the end that were not applicable to the role. Laid back experience, nice enough guy interviewing me
