The shady part is that they would ask for a written assignment - with THREE separate 250-word or less responses, then add the answers from other interviewee respondents to a spreadsheet, and have you - the current interviewer, build on what's missing. She even told me that I had so many good ideas, to be as detailed as possible when responding as if I am actually in the role. Now I feel she just wanted the ideas to use internally. Fortunately, I did not mention the data science work I do as I figured it would be valuable to write protocols and solutions to simply existing knowledge within the organization.
They provided documentation prior to the interview and the due date for the written assignment.
They asked to be detailed and specific and warned that it was written to be intentionally challenging.
The 3 written assignment questions are:
(1) Securing New Sponsorships:
Draft a letter to share a few key benefits of this work, then offer to set up a time to discuss this further.
(2) Assessing Member Priorities:
What are 3-4 themes that have emerged as priorities from our members as we embark on this new work area? What additional questions might you ask? (A spreadsheet with Interviewee responses. There were 24 numbered when I received it.
(3) Work Planning:
Select any deliverables from the list of deliverables in the Business Plan and imagine taking a first pass at coming up with steps to make it happen.
