Had a panel interview right off the bat. A few technical questions. Everyone on the call seemed likeable, very polite, etc. Talked to the HR person after and we thought it went well expecting the process to continue right away. Then...ghosted.

The usual generic "tell me about yourself." I think more targeted, specific questions would help steer the interview in the direction that would tell them find out they wanted to know.
