HR contacted me after I submitted an application/resume. You fill out a questionnaire online, then if they decide to proceed, they contact you for a face to face. I was applying for a management position, so I met with both the GM and President. They were thorough, engaging, informative and honest.

Explain your past experiences in the workplace with regard to your position. What are you looking for in a company? Situation examples, very honest about what to expect. It made my decision easier to make.
