I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CoreHR (Cork)
Interview
Got an interview through an external recruiter. It was a really relaxed interview which I like but the interviewers took the relaxed approach almost to the point of disinterest. At the beginning there was a quick overview of the role and what the interviewers did in their jobs. After that it was very much a tell me about yourself where you run through your previous experience with not too many questions. It’s really up to you to know your past roles inside out and key points that suit the role - you won’t be probed too much to give the information. There was the occasional cut in where they asked to expand on a certain point and then one or two "interview" questions at the end. The lack of interest from the interviewers was irritating and the interview type questions came across like a box ticking exercise more than they actually wanted to know the answer. My main gripe was when I asked for feedback when I was told I didn't get the role the answer was "we don't have specific feedback it's a no for now". My advice for anyone going for an interview here is know your CV very well, know your main accomplishments and be really able to get them across while explaining your career to date.
