For EMEA roles, having recruiters and screeners with deeper knowledge of the regional market would add value and help create a more meaningful screening process. Better alignment between role expectations, compensation, and local market realities would strengthen the overall candidate experience.
The expectations for the role were extremely broad, covering multiple disciplines and requiring significant experience. However, the compensation did not appear to reflect the scope and level of expertise being sought.
