I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Cottey College in Jun 2021
Interview
Zoom interview with the Athletic Director and a small committee. Primarily, the AD asked the interview questions, which often seemed out of context for the position. They were hard to answer without knowing the state of the program or context of the queries. Everyone was very nice, but no one seemed to have an extensive gaming background, and only near the end of the interview did I learn that the program was only established last year and currently functioned more as a club than a competitive team. I was told I would be contacted regarding the position the same week. Two-plus weeks later, I haven't heard a word. I feel that there was a lot of detail that should have been given up front, if this interview was meant to go well. I have to assume this position was advertised as a formality before hiring an internal candidate, as is the habit of academic institutions.

Question 1
What do you think of leadership, social responsibility, and global awareness (without context, it's a strange question. These are CC's values. "Global awareness" means more "awareness of international dealings and other cultures" than "bringing awareness of a topic to the world stage.")?
What games do you think should be played (NACE has established titles, so I am not sure what bringing new ones into the mix would bring. I was never briefed on what titles were already being played on campus)?
