      Publicity Assistant Interview

      7 Dec 2017
      Anonymous employee
      San Diego, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Covet PR (San Diego, CA)

      Interview

The HR Manager was very thorough and transparent throughout the entire interview process. First off, she consistently responded to my emails, even when I was just inquiring about availability and introducing myself before jobs were being posted. From our initial phone call, she explained that the company was growing and looking to hire many positions, and that she would be looking to see which position I could potentially be a fit for. After completing a "homework" assignment, it was determined that I would be best slated as a Publicity Assistant candidate, and I was given a Skype interview with some team members and I received professional, positive reinforcement when following up. I received my offer and accepted right away, starting about five days later. Overall, the process was long - about 3-4 weeks - but I respected the agency's dedication to ensuring they were finding the right candidates, which is very important in the end.
