The interview process was more of technical skills assesment, domain knowledge at the first round and project evaluation on the scale of medium to high level of questions as per the experience.
The process was pretty standard. Resume and application were submitted online. HR contacted me fir pre screening. This was followed by an interview with the team leader. All very professional yet casual.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Credibly (Troy, MI)
Interview
Very unprofessional company. I applied online and received a call from the recruiter next day. After 4 to 5 interviews, they asked me to submit a powerpoint that highlighted my plan and strategy once I join them; it appears the board wanted to see it. I spent 30+ hours preparing the powerpoint and submitted it. In few weeks, I received a written job offer, with my name on it and I signed & returned the job offer. Then there was complete radio silence for few weeks and I followed up with them few times. Then I get an email saying that they are putting the job on hold and didn't give an explanation. I asked what ‘hold’ means – whether its just putting it on hold for some time or if they are cancelling the role, I didn't receive any response.
Few months later, I again got in touch with them and they made me talk to their new management and also an external consultant. Then I get an email saying they are putting it on hold again, without any explanation again. They kept on saying that ‘they are very impressed by my skills and background’, but gave no explanation or haven’t apologized for such unprofessional behavior yet.
I am very sorry to hear about your experience when applying for a position. We have worked extremely hard to streamline our recruiting and on-boarding process. Clearly, based on your experience, we have more work to do. Thank you for your constructive feedback. I will look into making this process better for future candidates.
