I was interviewed for the position of Master Scheduler / Senior Planner. The interview lasted 2 hours and I was very happy with the interview . I was interviewed by two supply chain professionals . I was confident that I would be offered the role.
I was called back 1 week later and interviewed by two managers from different departments. The interview went well but it quickly became apparent to me that they were looking for a completely different person to what was on the Job specification.
Clearly this is an example of an organisation where HR should be better represented as they were absent throughout the interviewing process which was flawed from the start as both departments were in conflict with each other.
The second interviewers openly criticised the first interviewers during the interview.
