I applied online. I interviewed at Crossover for Work (São Paulo, São Paulo) in Jun 2017
Interview
Multiple steps in hiring process. First you do a quick quiz then do a technical task then technical interview and HR interview. if you are lucky you will get to meet a hiring manager.
I'm very disappointed about this flawed process, I invested alot of time into the technical task and interviews and totally wasted 5 days and did great in the interviews and interviewer told me that I have very good grade. I passed all the steps and now thrown into a pool that hiring managers can pick from which is humiliating and I have been waiting for two weeks and when I contacted support said hiring managers already picked an applicant but I will be in the pool for 60 days. If the job is not vacant why let people complete the process?!!
This is an awful experience, I hope crossover knows that people don't have 5 days laying around to waste for nothing.
Also the HR interview was very strict and interviewer was in a hurry.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crossover for Work (Alexandria, Alexandria Governorate) in Feb 2016
Interview
I applied online. After a week I got an email to start the assessment which was multiple-choose questions about git, asp.net and asp.net MVC. You have thirty minutes to complete the test.
Second step is to complete a project within three days. They will give you a link to download the source code "MVC" project and instructions how to solve the project task and here is the strange part :). They asked to solve 10 specific bugs in the solution and write a text file how you solve each bug. You will not write a lot of code. I got illogical feedback here. Like : Missing demo presentation, Code issues as too many nested blocks, possible memory leaks due to unclose references, although I almost did not write any code. :)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Which of the following are part of a commit in Git?
That test is an exception as most of our trials involve a lot of coding. As for your feedback, please contact Crossover support (support@crossover.com) and we will be more than happy to assist you.
