Interview
Got a call from the store manager several months after I applied and asked if I could come down to the store that day and I did. We met in the office and just talked about my job history and if I was comfortable working in the store environment (e.g. coolers, outside, handling cash, dealing with lines and cleaning the store) and what my availability was like. Waited a couple weeks but after calling to check in on the application was offered a job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cumberland Farms (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY) in Apr 2022
Interview
It was a casual conversation and the manager wanted me to start asap. While this may be desirable for some of strapped for cash, if you're looking for a professional work environment or training, you won't find it here. You'll get tons of behind the scenes drama and gossip with a manager that is the main source of spreading gossip. Not well managed at all. Makes the already lousy $15.50/hr even harder to stomach.

Interview
The interview was very relaxed and took place in the back office of the store. The questions were very basic and mostly about how I would handle certain situations. It was only about fifteen minutes before it was over.
