Custom Learning Designs Medical Writer interview questions

Fairly standard interview. I met first with someone from HR, followed by the Hiring Manager. I was asked to provide a writing sample based on a prompt that they provided. The prompt was out of date and they were not entirely clear on what they wanted. I never got a response after submitting the writing sample, which I found unprofessional as I inquired specifically. A simple, thank you but we're going to focus on other candidates would have been appreciated.
