Only single 45 minute interview, which is live coding based. 2 interviewers. Asked about my skills and experience/resume. Then went on to technical questions, one was for debugging and another one was a leetcode easy question
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at D2L (Kitchener, ON) in Oct 2020
Interview
1) Take home assignment, asking 1 behavior and 1 coding question
2) HR half hour interview
3) half hour interview : 1 coding question and 1 code review
4) 3 hour technical + managerial interview
4.1) technical interview : 1 code + 1 class design
4.2) technical interview : 1 code + 1 system design
4.3 ) Managerial interview : mostly behavior questions
Overall the interview was pretty enjoyable and the interviewers were really nice and helpful. It's nice that they seek to know your overall approach and not the nitty gritties of the syntax you are coding in .
One major complaint is, i received no mail back /call back or any communication from the D2L team after the whole interview process . Its been 1 month so i assume (obviously) that they do not wish to go ahead with me , but the same should have been communicated .
