Pretty standard phone screen with the manager then in person. In person interview was with manager, HR and a peer. The power peer was the only other person on the team with the same title which was an uncomfortable dynamic

Got an email 2 days after the interview that they were impressed by my interview and i need to complete a 4hrs Excel/PowerPoint Assessment "as a final step". Scheduled but didn't receive date confirmation until after 2weeks
Interview to Assessment-3weeks
After Assessment, total silence. Sent emails no response. Then a whole 8.5weeks after the assessment, I received an email saying that they have decided to not fill the role anymore. Just that. Total waste of time.

The process consisted of a pre-hire assessment, phone interview and an in-person panel interview. The process seemed fair. There was also an opportunity to talk about highlights from your resume and ask questions at the end.
