Interview
I had received an interview opportunity for the role of Solution Analyst. I was communicated initially that there would be three rounds if interview.
The first round was mainly focused on Sql concepts, BI to old and overall experience and projects that I had worked on. Following that I had round two that focused on Sql with data modelling questions based on a case study that was given which took approximatly 50 minutes to 1 hour.
I had gotten through the second round and was informed that I had one last round with the Indian Management team based in pune. This round was basically to understand about my experience, projects and also explained about the company and the projects.
After that I took followup with the HR and he was reverting but I guess the management wsdnt giving a clear status on the position and simultaneously they were interviewing other candidates as well.
I waited for aprooximafyely 10 to 12 days and when I took follow up with hr ,he had conveyed that the possibility of getting selected was less and asked me to start looking for other opportunities and with that I had given up on Data Axle.
Then after a week again I received a call from the hr informing that if I am available for the same position and said they will finalize me and give me the offer within the same day and said they were ready to give an interim offer in order for me to drop my papers in the current company.
Then I again had a round of discussion with the main head hr and she had apologised for the inconveniences through out the interview process and I was convinced with the apology and understood that it was genuine.
Post that I had thought I'll be getting the offer within two days, when I wad taking followup the HR conveyed that the offer is not getting approved by the Indian management.
Basically the US management had given their approval for rolling out my offer with my desired LPA and when it came to the decision of the Indian management,
As usual they couldnt approve the same.
Data Axle as a company is good to work as one can get to learn a lot and work on good projects but in terms of management specifically the Indian management team because of which i wad mentally drained out through out the process as they weren't giving any clear status on the candidature.
It shows how the management takes the candidates for granted.
Similar reviews i had read in glassdoor earlier to my interview and yet I felt I would have a good experience with the interview process, but it turned out to be true.
So for those of you who are applying to data axle kindly do apply as it is a good company but also Do not get invested a lot with what they say because one day they say they will roll out the offer letter and the next day they will let you know that they can't work around the budget.
