I must begin by saying that my initial impressions of the company were quite positive. DataArt reached out to me while I was not actively job searching, demonstrating their interest in my profile. The first two interviews, one with HR and the other with an English teacher to assess my language skills, were conducted in a polite and highly professional manner. It was evident that DataArt valued clear communication and professionalism. However, my experience took an unexpected turn during the third interview with the hiring manager. It is important to emphasize that I was approached by DataArt, and I did not actively seek out this opportunity. Unfortunately, this interview was not as pleasant as the previous ones. The interviewer displayed an attitude that came across as somewhat arrogant, giving the impression that I was in a position of having to prove my worth to the company, despite the fact that I was initially approached by them. One aspect that left me with some uncertainty was the lack of information regarding the salary range for the Legal Assistant role. During the interview process, I was asked about my salary expectations, but it would have been beneficial to have a clearer understanding of the compensation range for the position. Additionally, there was an additional level of interview with an international team that I did not advance to, which could have provided further insights into the company culture and expectations. In summary, while the first two interviews at DataArt were conducted admirably and showcased professionalism, my final interview with the hiring manager left me with mixed feelings due to the perceived arrogance. I believe that constructive feedback is essential for companies to improve their hiring processes, and I hope that this feedback is taken in the spirit of continuous improvement.
