Typical interview process for a college/university. Positive experience overall. 3 interviews total. Met with supervisor, director, but no other contacts prior to being hired aside from phone screen in the beginning of the interview process.
Straightforward. A day and a half as a finalist with multiple committee and faculty interviews. Teaching demo. Job talk. Overall really enjoyed it and meeting everyone. The department I interviewed for was quite large.
3 overall rounds - the initial recruiter didn't understand the role when asked specific questions and the team admitted using AI to formulate questions. The panel interview was a group of 7 who had all been working at the University for 10 plus years and didn't seem to want this role filled. And after all that, they didn't hire anyone.
