It was good and they consider how close you are for the position. Also it is important to show how independent you are. Also, teaching skills can be important. The other thing is collaboration skills
A postdoctoral researcher interview was conducted with Zoom remotely because I am an international student. After the Zoom interview, I also had reference checks. Three professors were glad to be a reference for me.

Initial psychological, numerical and logical reasoning exam followed by a HR interview, skype interview and finally presentation/ interview in person. Initial conducted by an agency and latter with the academics involved. It was a long but enjoyable process.
