Sent in my resume via LinkedIn and immediately was contacted by the head of the department. Already strange enough but the role was exactly what I was looking for so I went along. Talked to her and two hiring managers on the phone, and was then sent an assignment where I prepared and delivered a presentation on Zoom. All positive feedback-then radio silence. My advice: if you ask candidates to do work you don’t plan to compensate them for, at least do your best not to ghost them afterward...
