Iām honestly feeling really disappointed and frustrated with how this whole process went.
At the end of February 2026, I got a call from Dentsu for an Analyst/Data Scientist role in Bangalore for 1ā2 years of experience. I cleared the first technical round in mid-March, and after that, they even asked for my documents, which gave me a lot of hope. Then after about 10 days, I attended the second technical round.
After that, things became really unclear. I kept following up with HR, but every time I asked, I was given vague reasons like the manager being on leave or that the decision was still pending. Weeks passed like this, and every couple of days I kept asking for an update, just hoping for some clarity.
Finally, through a mutual contact, I came to know that I was actually not selected.
What hurts the most is not the rejection, but the lack of transparency. I invested my time, energy, and hope into this process. A simple, honest response would have saved me from all this confusion and waiting.
Even now, I havenāt received any official rejection email or communication from the company or HR, which makes the whole experience even more disheartening.
I just wish companies understood how much this kind of uncertainty affects candidates.
