Apply online- 5 or 6 key selection criteria to complete (one page each), plus cover letter and CV. This may not result in an interview. Interview with at least 3 staff from the school. Provided with 5 or 6 questions that should be linked to KSC and 10-15min writing time prior to interview. Asked same questions and the panel will take notes. Some schools will ask for the sheet you wrote on, some will let you take it. Depending on the school, some will have group interviews as well and/or interviews with student leaders (have not had either of these). After the interview, the panel will give the interviewee a rating and after all interviews conclude they will rank them a d offer the position to the person who ranked highest. Some schools will let you know if you were unsuccessful, most these days will let you find out via automated email from Recruitment Online (even when majority or all applicants are internal!).
Since the teacher shortage, this process may have become less arduous, there is a 'talent pool' where teachers can post their CV and schools may offer interviews or jobs that way.
