I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Nampa, ID) in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied in-person on October 15. Got a call on October 23 and interviewed October 24. It was really easy; the manager's main concern was if I was going to show up and do my job, as she has had a lot of people walk out or not show up. She emphasized that the job was stressful and had low pay, but there was a lot of movement in the company.
Came in and asked for the store manager. He took me into the office and asked a few questions. Questions : Why do you want to work for Dollar Tree? Do you know anyone that works here? How you deal with Multi-tasking? How you deal with pressure?
Got the job. (Mainly through Nepotism).

Very simple and easy was hired on the spot. More like a friendly conversation than an interview, was 30min-1hr long. Given tour of store and full run down of responsibilities
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Tequesta, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
Went to interview and was nervous about answering questions for the job and depending on how I answer them. That would determine if I get the job or not. But it wasn’t like that at all. The store manager was super friendly and straight forward with everything. Applying was super easy online.
