I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollarama (Winnipeg, MB) in May 2019
Interview
I sent my resume in the mail, and got a call back from the hiring manager a couple of days later, saying she had recieved my resume and asking me to come in for an interview. She scheduled me for a few days later. The interview was not to difficult, just asked a few questions and then had me fill out an application form, and was told I when I could expect to hear back from her. Did not hear back.
The store associate interview was friendly and straightforward. Questions focused on customer service, teamwork, and availability. Overall, it was a positive experience and a good chance to show communication skills.
I don't know why there's no physical interview anymore. Just the questions and tasks you do on appyhere, and that's it. If you "pass", you get your first day schedule like 3 days later
Asks about customer service and work ethic (organization and efficiency). They like people who can stock shelves fast and can multitask the register and stocking the line up. As long as you haven't gotten fired from a previous job, you have a pretty high chance with the right experience and/or a referal.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
At what time have you been able to multitask and provide proper production.
