After being shuffled around by the recruiter asking me if the department got back to me and then text me to reach out to the department (this took over 6 days)-they immediately cancelled my "confirmed/scheduled interview" simply based how sloppy their recruitment process is without any proper steps or guidance. They responded by saying a that my mortgage industry experience is not financial industry experience. Per Investopedia "The major categories of financial institutions are central banks, retail and commercial banks, internet banks, credit unions, savings and loan (S&L) associations, investment banks and companies, brokerage firms, insurance companies, and mortgage companies." Then stated my risk experience was not over 4 years when I have over 12 years in the industry holding many endorsements and bringing many financial products to market.
Starting to make sense why they need a risk manager when they do not seem competent to even recruit properly.
