met with hiring manager, division manager and President of the company over the course of one day. Conversations focused on background, experience, critical thinking, past challenges, opportunities in the industry.

The hiring manager called me for a phone interview. He was very distracted and kept telling me to hold up to 5 minutes at a time about 6 times during the phone call. He pretty much told me I was a back up interview and that I most likely will not be hired because he had already offered the position to someone else. He said he was being transparent and giving me a fighting chance. I tried my best to be polite and ultimately did not get the job. It was a good learning experience..
