EBS Integrator interview questions

The interview took place in 2 stages. The first stage was conducted by the company recruiters, online. We discussed about myself, my skills, overview of previous experience and etc. I really liked that one of the recruiters asked me interesting questions, which somehow helped me to understand if I am suitable for this position or not. The 2nd stage was physical, with a recruiter and the team manager. It was a warm one, with professional questions and discussions about the final offer. I was super pleased and can say it was one of the best interviews I have ever had!

My candidacy was rejected within 10 minutes because “I knew more than I needed to.” According to the interviewer, they were looking for a developer with several years of experience (more than I had), and my experience with the .NET Framework (over 10 years) does not count as experience for .NET Core (.NET Framework is a superset of .NET Core, isn't it?). In general, the conversation seemed very strange to me.
