I was invited to complete a CCAT and a Spark Hire one-way video interview a few days after applying online. CCAT was 50 questions in 15 minutes. I would just brush up on techniques for quickly solving algebra problems. The virtual interview is an awkward experience but can be significantly easier if you practice. I can't remember fully but I believe the questions I was asked were "Tell me about yourself," "Why Eastdil Secured?", "Why real estate?"

Interview
Comprehensive financial modeling test (calculate IRR, MOIC, debt schedule, formula test) with two rounds of behavioral interviews after. The whole process took about three hours. You could tell people were on edge in this office, not surprising given the firm.
1st round interview was basic - just tell me about yourself with the only follow up being asking about experience. Interview got cut short, presumably because they decided my answer's weren't good enough. Be prepared with plenty of questions of your own.
