Eaton Data Science Director interview questions

A very negative experience. Avoid! Applied & got a reply after more than a month. Had the 1st typical filtering interview & then the 2nd which was technical with 2 data scientists. Then suddently the company changed their mind before continuing with the 3rd interview. Although they advertised a role at director level & confirmed this is the level in both initial interviews. Then after the 2nd interview with a positive outcome & after 1,5 weeks it was suddently communicated that they reviewed the role & decided to downgrade to a lower manager level! All in all, I lost 2 months and valuable time for nothing. Proffessional process?
