I was given the interview after applying through my campuses Multicultural Engineering Program. After about a week, I was contacted about an interview opportunity on my campus. A few days after the interview, they returned with an offer for their summer intern position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked soft-skill questions only for an engineering position, so nothing was extremely difficult.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (Loughborough, England) in Mar 2019
Interview
Approximately 30 interviewees started out in the morning, the first task being a logical test which was very time pressured. After this we were split into smaller groups of approx 4-6 and sent off to different rooms to complete some team tasks. There were a variety of these throughout the morning session (all of these were observed by different people), after which lunch was provided. After lunch, around 8-10 of us we’re led off into one room and told we had made it through to the individual interviews in the afternoon, the rest of the candidates were sent home. The afternoon was much more relaxed and consisted of interviews with varying people from the company.
Talked with a recruiter at a career fair. Received an email saying I was selected for the interview process. Had two 30 minute interviews back to back. First was with a younger more day-to-day involved engineer. The second was with a manager who had been with the company for a while.
