initial phone screen by recruiter from eaton, followed up by an hour phone interview with hiring manager. typical questions by the manager, "what my current role is, why I applied, etc etc"
after the phone interview, I was invited onsite (I was an out of state candidate) - HR booked my flight for the onsite interview in a few weeks - they also confirmed the schedule for the onsite interview (who the panel of people are that will be interviewing me and what time slots, etc)
fast forward to the day of the flight and I find out at the airport that my flight has been cancelled. Called the travel agency, they said someone from eaton cancelled it. Called Eaton and they basically said "ummm oops, we forgot to tell you, we are only interested in local candidates right now, sorry about wasting you're time"
I've never seen such incompetence honestly, really poor job by Eaton HR staff. Simply phone call/email would have cleared everything up and I would have been on my way...instead they completely wasted my time and day..
Be wary if you are an out of state/area candidate! they may pull the plug anytime without any notification!
