The interview started off well, and the interviewer came across as friendly and easygoing. However, my experience changed as the hiring process continued.
The position was presented differently during the interview than it was later in the process. The schedule and hours ultimately discussed were much less than I had expected based on the initial conversation. I was also uncomfortable with how compensation was described.
When I asked for clarification about the terms of employment, I felt that my questions were not welcomed. Rather than receiving clear answers, I was made to feel inexperienced and was spoken to in a way that I found dismissive and unprofessional.
Overall, I left feeling that the hiring process lacked transparency and that expectations were not communicated clearly from the beginning. I would encourage future candidates to ask detailed questions about the schedule, compensation, and employment terms before making a decision.
