The position was presented differently during the interview than it was later in the process. The schedule and hours ultimately discussed were much less than I had expected based on the initial conversation. I was also uncomfortable with how compensation was described. When I asked for clarification about the terms of employment, I felt that my questions were not welcomed. Rather than receiving clear answers, I was made to feel inexperienced and was spoken to in a way that I found dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, I left feeling that the hiring process lacked transparency and that expectations were not communicated clearly from the beginning. I would encourage future candidates to ask detailed questions about the schedule, compensation, and employment terms before making a decision.
