I applied through university. I interviewed at Emlid (Budapest)
Interview
The interview process went very smoothly. It started with a brief phone screening, followed by an interview with the hiring manager. The questions were relevant and allowed me to highlight my skills and experience. The interviewers were professional and friendly, and I received clear communication throughout the process.

Question 1
What would you do if you had an opposing opinion to your manager?"
From the very first contact, the HR team was attentive and provided important details about the role, requirements, and expectations. I had an initial alignment conversation, a technical test, a meeting with the marketing manager and other members of the marketing team, and, in the final stage, a meeting with HR and the CEO. At the end of every interview, the next steps and response expectations were clearly aligned.
What impressed me the most, however, was how organized they are and how close they stay to the candidate. They were always in touch with me to share next steps and process expectations. Something that usually causes anxiety for candidates never happened to me at any point.

Question 1
Questions related to “tell me about a time” framework, in other words, real situations experienced throughout my career involving challenges, how we handled them, the results, and reflections on different ways we could have acted. We also had a great time talking about more technical/specific aspects of my job - not in a 'questionary' way, but they were genuinely interested on how I see the biggest challenges of Marketing.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Emlid in Jan 2025
Interview
I was referred directly for the role, and the whole process felt thoughtful and very human. HR reached out and we had an intro call — they were well-prepared, knew the product and domain, and were transparent about what to expect in the position.
Then I received a take-home assignment that was genuinely one of the most interesting test tasks I’ve had. After that, I had a call with the team lead with creative, non-standard questions focused on my thinking and approach. Communication was open, respectful, and completely non-toxic.
Even though I didn’t get the role initially, the team lead shared a detailed list of resources to help me improve, which was incredibly helpful. About six months later, they reached out again when a better-fit position opened, and after a final meeting with the Head of HR, the Engineering Lead, and the Design Lead, I got a quick and clear offer. Overall, one of the best interview experiences I’ve had.
