      Associate Engineer Interview

      28 Dec 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Foster City, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Entelos (Foster City, CA)

      Interview

Initial communication started in email, as they replied to my application to the position. Then a brief (30 min) phone interview. Then I was invited to onsite interview. It started off with giving a candidate seminar. Then I met probably 5-7 people (1:1), ended with VP and a HR person. It took a whole afternoon. It was 2-3 months later that I receive a letter saying that they hired somebody else. Although I felt "hanging" for a few months, at least they led me know. Overall impression of the people was very nice. Secretary was very helpful. I forgot my USB drive but the secretary mailed it to me right away. People showed interest in my research when I give a talk.
