Interview process spanned about 2 months from beginning to end so it’s a big emotional rollercoaster. During that time, the job and role changed but they encouraged me to continue interviewing. Each interview was a tag team of 2 individuals for 45 minutes. I felt that everyone was cordial and easy to speak with until one question was about “have you played the game?” Which took me off guard. Later, it came up in the feedback that I haven’t played or downloaded the game which isn’t a requirement for the position. I’ve worked at least 4 major different industries and never was asked to know about the industry products before I was hired. Needless to say the feedback was very positive and that the job evolved which is unfair for me. They said if job was same as what I applied for, it would have been a great fit. I felt a little betrayed and wasn’t sure how to react. It felt like they needed a gamer, which I was told by a friend of mine before. Likely would not interview again for a position at EPIC

4 Multi-stage group interviews after a recruiter email reaching out and a screening call. About an hour for each. Mostly pre-scripted questions with some expansion/follow ups regarding my experience and responses
