Epic Games Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) interview questions

Applied online for one job in Washington state, was referred to a different position in Cary, NC. Started with a phone interview, then an interview via Zoom. I was asked some general interview questions and all was going well until I was asked about salary. They told me that they would be interested in moving forward with the interview process if I was okay taking a significant pay cut. I'm sure Epic Games is a fantastic place to work, and their staff seemed friendly enough, but I wasn't really cool with a big pay cut so I withdrew my interest.
