      Project Manager Interview

      15 Nov 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ergon

      Interview

The interview process was detailed and well-organized. The first round was a virtual conversation with my potential manager and their leader. This conversation focused on my background, my skills, and how my experience aligned with the role. We also discussed my long-term career goals and how they would fit within the organization’s direction. This round felt conversational and gave me a good sense of the team’s expectations and leadership style. The second round was a panel interview that included both leaders and future peers. This portion was much more in-depth and lasted several hours. The panel asked a wide range of situational and behavioral questions, many of them rooted in real scenarios related to the role. The difficulty level was fairly high — not only in terms of technical and operational knowledge, but also in assessing team fit, communication style, problem-solving approach, and personality alignment. It was clear they place strong emphasis on collaboration, culture, and how candidates operate under pressure. Overall, the process was intense but fair. It gave me a comprehensive view of the expectations for the position and the dynamics of the team I would be joining. I appreciated the structure, transparency, and opportunity to speak with multiple stakeholders.
