It was about 3 weeks from when I applied for the job that I scheduled an interview. The overall interview process took about 2 hours, consisting of 2 parts: (1) a meeting/interview with an HR representative, including a summary of the benefits package and general interview questions, and (2) a department specific interview, with the people who will be overseeing your position. After the interview, it took roughly 2-3 weeks until they selected me as a candidate. Once you are selected, they do a background check, call your references, and confirm your education and licenses from your resume. When those are completed, they will make you an offer with the salary that has been determine based on your qualifications and similar salaries in the field.
