I interviewed at Estes Forwarding Worldwide (Richmond, VA)
Interview
EFW is well behind the times when it comes to interviewing and hiring. A waste of time. They do not believe in nor share salary band transparency. In agreement with another reviewer, in-person interviews are no longer a norm. The people I spoke to were less than flexible when it came to times and scheduling, often just providing one time. My screener came across as not even knowing what position I applied to - both on the phone and in email referring to my " recent application" and claimed to have my resume up during the call but repeatedly was incorrect about my prior experience and current position.

Interview
It went well. First was an HR phone screen, followed by a hiring manager interview, and lastly an in-person interview.
HR screen was a pretty basic phone screen, and the virtual with the hiring manager was pretty normal too. I didn’t like that they insisted I do an in-person interview in the post-covid business environment. Future-looking companies don’t do these anymore.
