I originally applied for a sales trainee job as this was where I felt my skill set was. After two interviews, I got a call saying they had gone with another candidate but that they really liked me and felt I would be good for a CSR position. I asked for more details because I wanted to prepare for the interview but I was told on the phone they would give me all the details when I met in person for another interview. I had no idea what to expect, and I went into it thinking they would fill me in at the interview. What ended up happening felt like a complete ambush. It was a difficult interview with questions I was completely unprepared for because, frankly, I didn't really understand what the job was going into it so every answer had to be completely off the cuff. I came out of it very frustrated because I felt I could have done so much better had I known what the job actually was. The most insulting part to me was they made me fill out ANOTHER paper application after the interview even though I had already submitted one digitally, just so they could reject me two days later.
