The hiring process at Everforth ECS takes an average of 3 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Customer Engineer had the quickest hiring process (on average 3 days), whereas Customer Engineer roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 3 days).
The interview process felt very disorganized, and communication from one of the recruiters was inconsistent throughout. After a phone screen on a Monday (phone screen went amazing), I was told I would hear back by the end of the week, but I didn’t receive any update and had to follow up myself.. Only to be ignored for another week before eventually receiving an automated rejection. A few days after the rejection, a recruiter reached out again asking to connect, which was super confusing. I responded, but again didn’t hear back for another week until I followed up a second time. Once we finally scheduled a call, I assumed there might be a change in my status given the outreach after the rejection. Unfortunately, the recruiter joined the call 30 minutes late and simply reiterated that they were moving forward with other candidates. This could have been communicated over email instead of requiring me to block time out of my day. Overall, the whole entire experience felt frustrating and poorly managed.
I applied online. I interviewed at Everforth ECS in Mar 2026
Interview
Applied and then got an email from a recruiter asking to schedule time to talk. After speaking with the recruiter she said I would hear back in a few days to schedule the next steps. About 2 weeks later I got a generic rejection email. The kind you get after just applying, not an interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about my background and where I saw my career going.
The interview was relatively normal and the two hiring managers asked sensible questions and gave me an opportunity to ask questions as well. However, the company never contacted me again despite my sending two follow-up emails to the recruiter after the initial phone screening and interview with the hiring managers. It’s fine that I didn’t get an offer but ghosting candidates after an interview is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Interviewees deserve the bare minimum of human decency and ECS did not treat me with decency as a job candidate.
