I was interviewed by a senior member of the management team. While the process was formally arranged, I encountered several issues that made me reconsider the opportunity.
Firstly, the salary offered was significantly lower than what was advertised in the job posting. When I shared my expectations, the conversation shifted toward my educational background in a way that felt unnecessarily critical. While constructive dialogue is appreciated, the tone used was discouraging.
It was also shared that the role involved leading a major project with a strict two-week deadline, a timeline that seemed unrealistic considering the scope described.
Throughout the interview, there was a recurring theme of self-praise and implied doubt in others’ capabilities, which did not foster a collaborative impression. Remarks were also made about my previous employer and role, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional.
Lastly, certain topics discussed during the interview seemed to approach areas sensitive to fair employment practices. It’s important that interviews reflect professionalism and respect appropriate boundaries.

Question 1
Do you have a salary range in mind for this position?
Onsite interview with hiring manager. I regret not trusting what the ex-employees were saying about this company and attended the interview. It is a complete waste of my time. First of all, the company still ask applicants to fill in a hardcopy application form - asking family information, age, race, religion etc., these are all information that MOM/TAFEP repeatedly mention PDPA is in place and there is no need to obtain those information to determine if someone can do the job. This company still lives in the 80s. Not only that, the negative reviews in glassdoor are 100% true, and no locals would join this company tbh, probably only foreigners whom cant find a job and dont mind being squeeze until completely dry till left bones. I am so glad I dodged a bullet and have found a ideal job that is humane at least. Join them at your risk.
I was contacted for an interview by a gentleman regarding a potential role. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Throughout the call, he kept yawning audibly, which came across as disinterested and unprofessional. His tone and manner of questioning felt rushed and dismissive. Frequently interrupted and didn’t allow me to finish my responses.
The overall interaction felt condescending and lacked the basic courtesy expected in a professional setting. It left a negative impression of the company’s hiring process.
