Interview
A two to three day process full of unpleasant surprises. The hiring staff seems to have no regard for your time. They fail to tell you that you will be working for a base of $180 *with "sales" commissions* for at least two weeks. No one working there seems to have an issue with this. The "Event" that I was taken along to shadow was a small team Soliciting Donations to a Charity in a Subway Station. I was offered the position but have high doubts about the efficiency and ethics of the organization, so declined.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They made me take a quiz about the principles of the organization. It harkened back to my days at religious school. Paired with the chanting I heard from behind the doors, it was quite unsettling.

Interview
Directly called-in for a face-to-face, first round and nothing was made clear what the job was about. The second and third round are conducted the next day. If you are at entry level and just starting to learn about sales and marketing then this job is for you.
Pros:
1. Helps you improve your communication and people skills.
2. Learn more about sales and marketing.
Cons:
1. During the first round, there are many candidates for interview and after the interview they say that only a few have been selected but apparently everyone is selected.
2. There is no base compensation and everything is based on your effort to make the sales.
3. Filo associates may or may not be the company name because several companies operate from one office. Even when you go to the office, you don't see the name written anywhere. Also, whatever the position you apply for, you will start as a Sales associate.
4. Somewhat like pyramid scheme because you get to grow rapidly. In other words, you will have your own company within 2 years which will be managing a client.
Now there are many cons to this because they don's clear the real questions about the company and job in the first round which is a waste of time.
What the job is?
These companies run promotions for fortune 500's. Basically, when you go to walmart, costco or similar supermarkets you see people selling you different products or services with a small table in front of them. This is that job!!!
This kind of lays out the basic picture of what the job is. I hope this helps save time for many people who want to understand the position.

Interview
It was a two day interview very easy. To the point and the 2nd day they ask you to come in an shadow. After the shadowing that is where you decide whether or not this is right for you.
