I applied through other source. I interviewed at First National Capital (Foothill Ranch, CA)
Interview
Met a couple of the managers and they asked me some basic questions. Wasn't hard by any means and they more or less did most of the talking trying to sell me on the company. Wasn't a great process. They seem desperate to hire since lots of turnover.
The interview process was by far one of the most unprofessional interviews EVER! I had 3 sets of interviews the first round I met two managers. First impression was very unprofessional as one of them was literally having to check text messages and even took a phone call during the interview. All managers looked burned out one of them did shared the stressful environment but states multiple times he was just cashing out on some stocks and trip to los cabos coming out. I asked about the future of the company and why is it that the KPI's on monitoring phone calls was important as part of their business, sad to say e had no idea what a KPI' meant. First feeling when you walk in is a call center with a bad vibe. According to one of the managers the ideal candidate is someone without any experience and someone that is willing to make 70 calls per day. Max salary disclosed by two managers was around as low as 45k-max55k senior account manager. While I was waiting to meet the President who recently got promoted I over heard a discussion from the receptionist complaining about one of the account managers. For the last round of interviews I was ask to sit down for 10 mins with two of their account managers and this was the first bad sign of a total nightmare, from employees complaining about the amount of calls to the point of how the just input random information to please the managers for their call log. I asked one of the employees about the turn over and they said its pretty bad due to management and work environment. After interviewing with Steven the recently promoted manager he is totally oblivious about the future capabilities of the company I asked him multiple times if he sees a value by taking valuable unsolicited time away from business owners and his response was this is how we do it here and works. After asking him about the future of technology integration for the company he refer to adding pop ups to their website. This company needs to clean house starting from management up to the new President who has no clear direction of the future of finance and benefits of ecommerce integrations for the company, This was just a small interaction during the 2 day interview process.
Stay away from this company , the ideal client is someone from a call center and someone thats willing to take valuable time away from business owners by making unsolicited calls approximately 70 per day.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at First National Capital (Foothill Ranch, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
It started with an initial phone interview. Then there was a interview with a Sales Manager. Then there was an interview with various managers of different rankings. Then there was an interview with the VP of sales and also a cofounder of the company. Finally there was an interview with the Owner. Great process, really get an idea of who works here, what the requirements and expectations of the job are
and what it will take to be successful.
